My cousins from the States are here for a couple of weeks so we decided to take them to a nearby beach in Batangas. I initiated renting this forest beach house for an overnight trip. Forest Cove Beach House is located right beside the clubhouse of Terrazas de Punta Fuego. It’s surrounded with huge trees like you’re really living in a forest, then it’s just a few steps away from the shore.
We were a bit worried that the weather might not cooperate. Typhoon Ofel was still in the Philippine area of responsibility the night before we were scheduled to go to the beach. It was still foggy when we got to Tagaytay the following day, but when we were already in area of Nasugbu, there’s no sign of any storm. :)
We had a very relaxing time in that house. It was filled with glasses so it looks roomy and bright. The bedrooms were also comfortable to sleep in. The maids / caretakers were very accommodating and ready to help (to barbeque hotdogs in the evening). We even rented DVDs and did suspense flicks marathon at night. My favorite place was the porch where I can read my book. After that, I could always walk to the beach. :)
Here are some photos of our long weekend vacay. . .
